I have been fascinated by these doll like figures for about a year now. Here is my current work in progress.

I'm back...I think

I took a break from the Bird's Nest Blog because I started a facebook page and was unable to manage both at the time. I am going to give it try now. Summer and Fall classes have been going great.

There will be a Nativity class on November 21 at 2:00. You can create a nativity that includes at least 3 figures with a creche. Colored slip can be used to add a splash of color. A clear glaze will then be applied right before firing in an electric kiln. This class is designed for all levels and will sure to be a fun experience! I hope to see you there!
